Stealing the hearts of millions of bingo players around the globe, the 90-ball game has not yet managed to become the number one game for North American bingo enthusiasts.

Originating from the U.K., the 90-ball bingo quickly spread throughout the rest of Europe. It is also the game of choice for bingo players in Australia and Asia, both online and in live bingo halls.

The cards used in 90-ball bingo might look very unfamiliar for players used to the 75-ball game, but the basics are still the same. On the 90-ball card there is three horizontal rows and nine vertical columns. All rows contain nine squares, but only five squares of each row are in play, as they are the only ones containing numbers. The rest of the squares are blank. Unlike the 75-ball game, there is no "free space" square in the 90-ball game.

Playing 90-Ball Bingo Online
Usually, a 90-ball bingo game is played until one player marks five numbers in a horizontal row. But online many games continue until a player catches a "full house", meaning completing his or her whole card.

Furthermore, when playing online a lot of people like to play more than one card at the time. In order for these players to keep track of all their cards and the numbers, the cards usually change color depending on how many unmarked numbers there are left before catching bingo.
