Parlay to Expand Italian Bingo Networks
Riding on the growing wave of online bingo popularity in Italy, Parlay Entertainment has signed a deal with the local Microgame SpA to develop two brand new bingo networks.
Parlay Entertainment, the world’s premier provider of software that is used by the majority of online bingo sites in the industry, announced that it had signed a deal with the Italian gambling group, Microgame, in order to bring more online bingo products to the country.
As early as next year, two new bingo networks will be created and ready for launch as soon as the Italian government adds bingo to its list of regulated online casino games. According to industry analysts, this is expected to happen in the first few months of 2009.
The Chief Executive for Parlay Entertainment, Scott White said about the new deal: “We are delighted to partner with Microgame to offer our leading-edge games in Italy, which will be a new regulated marketplace for Parlay and for bingo. We view the opportunity with Microgame, making use of their existing relationships, infrastructure and large customer base in Italy, as an excellent way to enter this new market for bingo.”
Since the increase of online bingo’s popularity in the United Kingdom, the excitement of the game has spilled out across other European countries too. Spain and Italy lead the way in online bingo site growth after the UK, however other countries are following suit, after online players realize the fun that there is to be had playing bingo games and taking advantage of a bingo bonus or two!
