Mirada Lands Lucrative Interactive Bingo Deal
In recent months, interactive bingo has become the new Hot Thing in the industry. Operators are moving beyond online bingo sites and are now offering players the opportunity to take part in live bingo games on television, combined with internet wagering.
The latest news in the bingo industry is that the industry-leading interactive and media games group, Mirada Plc has landed a lucrative deal with ITV. Under the terms of the new deal, Mirada will provide ITV with interactive televised bingo.
Later this month, ITV will launch its new “Bingo Night Live” that will broadcast five times a week at midnight. The interactive bingo game will be on a free-to-play basis, and players will also be able to compete online.
Although no details about the amounts that exchanged hands over the new deal were released, Mirada Plc implied that it would receive a significant boost in revenues.
Mirada’s Chief Executive Officer, Jose Luis Vasquez said about the new deal: “This profitable new contract is continued evidence of the successful integration of YooMedia and Fresh. The combined organization now operates with a broader product range, improved access to intellectual property and high value industry contacts as well as stronger financial controls.”
