Bingo.com to Fight Online Fraud
Bingo.com has become the latest online gambling site to join Ethoca’s growing community of companies who aim to fight online fraud with a vengeance.
Ethoca, a world leader in collaborative fraud management, already has established a pool of gambling operators who share information about their fraud experiences and help one another combat the unfortunate growing trend of organizaed fraud in the industry.
Bingo.com, one of the industry’s largest and most influential bingo sites, realized that steps needed to be taken to fight against fraud, especially in a market that is growing at such an incredible pace.
Fraudsters tend to target new, vulnerable bingo sites and Ethoca’s mission is to protect these online bingo rooms, as well as others on the internet.
“We are excited to have Bingo.com join as a member of the anti-fraud community,” said Andre Edelbrock, Ethoca’s CEO. “With the growth in the online gaming community and increased customer-not-present transactions, Ethoca will help Bingo.com reduce the cost of fraud by leveraging the shared experiences of the community. Ethoca’s collaborative fraud management enables Bingo.com to tackle the on-going problem of online fraud and drive company profits forward.”
In response, Henry Bromley who serves as Chief Financial Officer of Bingo.com said, : “We consider it critical to share information to progress. Joining Ethoca’s collaborative fraud management community is a logical step for our business to fight fraud and enhance profitability.”
