Bingo Numbers

This section covers common terms for all the bingo numbers called - yes, they have a term for every single number! The list refers to UK Bingo, as it utilizes 90 balls rather than 75, as in American Bingo.

Some of the terms have real meaning behind them, such as "26 = Bed and Breakfast". The cost of overnight lodging with breakfast is traditionally 2 shillings and 6 pence, or two and six.

"80 = Gandhi's Breakfast" was named for the imagined aerial view of Gandhi, sitting with legs crossed, in front of an empty plate.

"59 = Brighton Line" got it's name from the London - Brighton bus service, number 59.

Other bingo numbers you'll notice, were simply chosen because they rhyme well.
