Some of the terms have real meaning behind them, such as “26 = Bed and Breakfast”. The cost of overnight lodging with breakfast is traditionally 2 shillings and 6 pence, or two and six.
“80 = Gandhi’s Breakfast” was named for the imagined aerial view of Gandhi, sitting with legs crossed, in front of an empty plate.
“59 = Brighton Line” got it’s name from the London – Brighton bus service, number 59.
